No, I don’t hear any fat ladies singing yet.

Oh no, a reversal would have taken too long. As I said, I
rounded up the troops and went to the bank. Luckily, we all bank at WaMu.

Do not submit the reversal, do the debit.

Good Morning Scott,

Per our previous conversations I told you that Intuit was still
going to try and debit your company’s bank account as well as deposit the
direct deposits into your employees’ accounts. This is why I had asked you to
complete the direct deposit reversal request online and send it back to us as
payment for the returned payroll. I also had given you a heads up that you were
going to receive an automatic email notifying you of the returned payroll debit
and I had kindly asked you to reply to the email saying you had submitted the
direct deposit reversals to resolve the issue.

I have not received the reversal request from you as of this
morning. You had stated in our previous conversation that you had paid your
employees manual checks so they were going to get double paid when Intuit
posted the direct deposits. Are you now saying you do not want Intuit to submit
the reversals to your employees and instead you want us to process the payroll
debit to your company’s bank account again? If so, that is fine, I can do that
and not charge the NSF Fee or keep your company suspended.

Please confirm on how you would like to proceed to resolve this
issue.

Thank you,

Colleen

Colleen ,

This is getting really old.

I did a little checking and WaMu’s system refused your
transaction because it would have put me into the red. It’s actually nice to
encounter a banking system that uses a little common sense. Of course I did get
slapped with a $27 NSF charge just because Quickbooks Payroll was effectively
two days late in processing my payroll. Given the very same time-table,
Quickbooks Payroll would’ve withdrawn the money from my previous financial
institution on the 14th without penalty. I know that from prior
experience. Therefore, I do not feel I am liable for either WaMu’s $27 or your
$75.

What has happened is that Quickbooks has created a cycle where
my DIY Account doesn’t get re-instated in time for me to meet the next payroll
on time. My employees aren’t going to wait so this has become something of a
self-perpetuating farce. We have to break that cycle without further ado.

Regarding this particular case, the double payment has been
returned to me so you may resubmit at any time now for re-imbursement. The
sooner the better. However, let’s not leave my DIY Account suspended so long
that I can’t meet my next payroll, ok?

Scott
